I'm really sick of all the new buildings popping up in Ballston. Most of them are a year old and still empty shells. Seems like a waste of time and money, but progress demands that the old Fairfax drive deli be torn down and replaced with an empty office building. Well, that's not true. The office building on that site actually has businesses within.
Started a new job last week at Joyce Motors in Arlington. There's a certain ambiance to working in my hometown, at a place that has been around since the '40s, family owned and operated since then. Not to mention the great reviews on Yelp. It's a great place to strut my CSI stuff. I think I can live up to the legacy. I'm at a point in my life where I'm honest about my strengths and weaknesses, to others and to myself.
Change can be bad, and change can be good. Change changes so often, ya know?
