Everything is new and exciting....again!

New job, new phone, new boot splash, new outlook on life, new opportunities, new, new, new!

New job at Pohanka Chevrolet. Service is open until 2300. Two shifts: 07 to 16, 15 to 23. I can stay as long as I like. Finally, a shop where parts is open until I leave. Only drawback: if we don't have the part I need, I can't get it 'cause everyone else is closed. (No toolbox destroyed in the move! Always a winner.)

New NEXTEL Motorola i1 Android phone. Bought it for my birthday. Takes a bit of getting used to. NEXTEL's first offering of touch screen love. No facebook integration like Blackberry, but there's still time. Heavy Google integration is a plus.

New boot splash. This morning, I have been playing with the various boot splashes the are available with fedora. By far, the most attractive is Solar. It's fun to play with Linux. As more and more companies jump onto the open source bandwagon, more and more is possible with an operating system that used to be only for hobbyists.

Time to try new things. Just try something new. If you don't like it, try something else, but keep trying.
